How Clinical Appointments Work with Dr.Jobst

When you make your initial enquiry, you will be able to talk to the Practice Manager or an administrative assistant, who will be able to take your personal details and answer any questions you may have. This will lead to the initial telephone call with Dr. Jobst as follows:

A Brief Telephone call:
After speaking with our office where a few notes will be taken, a time will be set for a brief 10-15 minute telephone call with Dr Jobst. The purpose of this call is for you both to guage whether it is appropriate to move forward together and for you to discover more about the pioneering perspective that Dr. Jobst brings to all his clinical work. This call is Free of Charge.

Initial Telephone Consultation: Your first appointment then, will ordinarily be a half hour telephone call, to begin the whole process of exploring your unique history to date, unless of course, an urgent appointment in person is required. Dr. Jobst holds a Telephone clinic on a Tuesday morning between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm, and will also arrange times to suit you both. Paid for prior to appointment.

Initial In-Person Consultation: First in-person appointment will ordinarily be a two hour consultation and will involve a physical examination. Clinics are held both at The Diagnostic Clinic in central London, (W1G 8TL) and in Hereford, The Wye Valley Nuffield Hospital, (HR1 1DF). A full post-consultation letter detailing Dr. Jobst’ analysis, thoughts and suggestions will follow within a week of the consultation.


Follow up appointments: will be for either half an hour or one hour, in person, by telephone or by Skype, whichever is most appropriate. If you would like a post consultation letter detailing Dr. Jobst’s recommendations, this incurs a small correspondence fee (see charges).

Diagnostic Tests (payment required before tests can be completed): It is possible that you will need blood tests or other diagnostic tests.
Please make sure you fully understand the instructions for tests, as you may need to fast beforehand.
Blood tests are carried out at The Doctor’s Laboratory, 55 Wimpole Street, London, W1G 8YL, or using test kits that are sent to your home.
Please be sure to call Dr. Jobst’s PA if you have any questions or concerns about any of your tests.
